Services

At Mariam Homecare, we're intentional about providing services that promote your independence while supporting a safe and balanced lifestyle. Our intake process begins with a thorough assessment that allows our care team to get to know you as best as we can; so that we can understand your needs and expectations. We then work diligently to ensure that we're matching you with caregivers that are prepared to go above and beyond in providing the highest standard of care to make sure that your needs and set expectations are met.

Through personal care and companionship, our dedicated caregivers can help you manage activities of daily living—from personal care and grooming to light housekeeping and companionship. We offer a wide range of services that you may personalize to meet your needs. Whether you need help getting in and out of the shower safely; getting around to appointments or social engagements; or you just need company and a listening ear—we can help you find a caregiver that’s the perfect fit for you!

Through our Habilitation services, we are able to  support adult clients who have autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, and other developmental disabilities to lead safe fulfilling lives in their homes, at supported employment, and within their community. We promote our clients' independence by teaching them how to do things for themselves—from daily grooming, personal shopping, or getting around via public transportation. We are very particular about community integration and go the extra mile to ensure that our clients maintain an active social and community life.

Our Respite program helps us support you so that you're able to continue to care for your loved one. Whether you need a vacation to refresh and regroup or a mid-day break to pick up lunch with friends or run errands, our caregivers are the perfect relief staff.

Staying safely in your home can also mean having a reliable, trustworthy, and affordable professional to call for "handy work" like deep-cleaning, window washing, gardening and lawn care. At other times, it may be a small plumbing issue or to change a ceiling bulb—SOS Handyman is our solution to helping our clients deal with those necessities that are not included in most personal care and companionship plan; but, that helps you stay safely in your home.

Our Service Pledge is to ensure the highest level of service by providing:

  • Considerate personalized care that recognizes your inherent worth and dignity;
  • Every opportunity for you to lead in the development of your service plan; along with a clear explanation of the services you’d be receiving; and a copy of your service plan;
  • Timely and appropriate responses to reasonable requests for assistance; and, services with reasonable accommodations of your needs and preferences—within the limits set by your service plan and our scope of practice;
  • Confidentiality of communications and records as pursuant to the law; and notification of any authority (i.e. Health Division) to examine your records, as related to the regulation and evaluation of this Agency or the Caregiver;
